# rebiddate

> A weekly feed for commercial landscaping, grounds and snow firms: who holds each nearby public mowing, grounds, tree and snow contract and the end date on the agency's own record, plus what every bidder bid where the county published a bid tab, with a link to the government record on every line.

rebiddate is built by Helios One Oy (3075 Clay St, San Francisco, CA 94115). It reads public records only and copies every name, amount and date from the record. rebiddate is not affiliated with or endorsed by Montgomery County.

- 13 Montgomery County grounds and snow contracts reach their listed end date by 31 Oct 2027. 13 open to bid: 2 open, 11 LSBRP. Local small business reserve (LSBRP): only county-certified local small businesses could bid. Sole-source awards and orders under existing contracts are never counted. - This week's Montgomery County metro feed: 26 open to bid: 4 open, 11 small-business set-asides, 11 LSBRP. Set-asides and LSBRP contracts carry a line that says who could bid. ## What the records do not say

- An end date on the record is not a rebid date. A contract can be extended, bridged or cancelled, and a past date can mean late paperwork.
- Bid totals are the county's tabulated totals over estimated quantities, not yearly pay.
- The bid tab doesn't say why the holder was chosen; group splits and award rules decide who gets what.
- Federal figures are obligations to date, not the size of the contract. Small-business set-asides are listed with a badge that says who could bid; sole-source and AbilityOne awards and orders under an existing contract are labelled "Not open to bid" and never counted; an award whose record does not state the competition is labelled "Competition not stated on the record" and never counted.
